FSEU webinar – Three reasons why fire resilience contributes to sustainable buildings

May 23, 2018 | News, Sustainability

Fire Safe Europe (FSEU) held a webinar “Three reasons why fire resilience contributes to sustainable buildings” on 22 May 2018. The webinar was a success and over 90 participants attended.

Agnes Schuurmans and Fanny Guay drew the link between fire resilience and sustainable buildings providing concrete examples. They also showed how fire resilience of buildings can contribute to the sustainable development goals 9, 11 and 12 and demonstrated how it is necessary that fire resilience is considered when developing policies, regulations and sustainable building rating schemes. Participants asked many interesting questions, which we will keep in mind and address when organising our next webinars.

FSEU would like to thank Agnes and Fanny for sharing their knowledge making this webinar possible.
