Moving from the recognition of Europe as the first tourism destination in the world, for both European and non-European travellers, the public consultation aimed to gather inputs from all relevant parties involved in tourism accommodation services in order to evaluate:
- whether the existing instruments and their implementation throughout the EU are adequate and sufficient;
- the nature and extent of the safety risks and potential flaws in the current legislative framework;
- the impact of those risks and flaws on the provision of tourism accommodation services across borders as well as on SMEs and vulnerable consumers.
FSEU submitted its contribution to the public consultation. Check it out!
