Comparative study of national fire safety requirements
Part One – High-Rise Residential Buildings
In 2014, Fire Safe Europe did a study on national regulations related to fire safety in schools, hospitals and high-rise residential buildings. It gathered data from 10 EU Member States.
We are in 2020 and it is time for an update.
The study will be divided into 3 parts:
- High-Rise Residential Building
The survey dedicated to High-Rise Residential Buildings is now open for input and the deadline has been extended until 28 May 2020. The other two surveys will be launched in July for hospitals and in October for schools.
The study is conducted within the European Fire Safety Community’s Advisory Panel on Facades.
The facades Advisory Panel is a high-level group that brings together Community Members wanting to work on the topic of facades fire safety. It focuses on developments in facades’ fire safety, from evolutions of facades’ regulations and standards to new technologies to the development of a European approach to assess the fire performance of facades.
